Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies began her career in the field of acting aged 12 as she first began participating in open castings held in local theaters. Her career as an actress began as a child when she began going to local casting calls for open roles. Gillies her first TV role was as a character who appeared on three seasons on The Black Donnellys. She stated that her parents believed it was inappropriate for her to be watching the show's whole. The year 2008 was a busy one for her she was cast in minor roles in The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. This summer, Ariana, who would later star in Victorious with her, was chosen to play alongside her in Lucy for the Goodspeed production in Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. The following year, the Broadway rendition of 13 released, and it became the first Broadway show with its cast entirely composed of teens. Gillies was also given the major songs "Opportunity," "It Can't Be Real," along with smaller songs such as "Hey Kendra," "Getting Ready" and many more. Gillies continued to be a part of the show until it was ended on January 4th, 2009.
