His droopy face is due to a forceps accident at the moment of his birth. The accident caused a nerve was injured, causing the actor to speak with a slur. Stallone was a troubled child. Stallone and Frank his older brother were both adversely affected through the turbulent parent-child relationships, that eventually led to divorce. Stallone was placed in foster care during a portion of his childhood. Stallone at the age of five years oldwhen he was able to move with his family Washington, D.C., which is where his father began his own line of beauty salons. Stallone lived for a long time in Maryland and was living alongside his father until 1957, the year his parents split up. Stallone was a troubled child in both his academic and emotional aspects. The group eventually had him expelled from a variety of schools.
